The Center for Crime Prevention Studies conducts research that will inform public policy in the emerging areas of environmental and situational crime prevention. Its goal is to apply innovative and sophisticated social science methods to real-life crime problems.

Crime Prevention Extension Service
The Extension Service works with small businesses in Newark and the rest of northern New Jersey to find simple, affordable and workable crime prevention measures that are practical and effective.
